Bo Ry and His Terrible Eye

Deep in the woods where no birds cry,
Where branches creak and shadows sigh,
Avert your eyes or you might spy
Bo Ry and his terrible eye.

Silently now he crept, he crept,
To where all of the people slept,
And spotting the eye up they leapt,
Running and screaming while Bo wept.

“I’m not so bad,” he said, he said,
“It’s just a globe inside my head,”
And yet they fled from him in dread
And he went lonely home to bed.

He cried he cried at his sad truth,
Alone he’d be long past his youth.
Til appeared with ‘Crash!’ ‘Bang!’ and ‘Oof!’
Rose Ruth and her terrible tooth.

Deep in the woods where no birds cry,
Where branches creak and shadows sigh,
Look around and you just might spy
Rose Ruth and her happy Bo Ry.
