Have you ever peered into a raindrop?

The world tilts on its head.

A miniature universe

trembles there

in fluid

suspense

for a

f

r

a

c

t

i

o

n

of

a

m

o

m

e

n

t

before

transforming,

fly                             ing,

falling                           free,

taking its alternate reality

plum               met      ing

in         obeisance

to gravity.
